Dr.Guorui Dou is currently working as an associate professor at the Department of Ophthalmology of Xijing Hospital, Fourth Military Medical University, Xi'an, P.R. China. Her research interests include microenvironment and molecular crosstalk in ocular angiogenesis, especially those presenting with abnormal vascular construction, and translational studies on how to reconstruct the vascular homeostasis. Recently, she and her cooperator Dr. Yusheng Wang have achieved important discoveries in the studies on microglia in ocular diseases, which have been published in Molecular Therapy-Nucleic Acids and so on.
