Shihao Yan is a Senior Lecturer of Computing and Security discipline in the School of Science at Edith Cowan University. He earned his Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia, in 2015. He also serves as a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, IEEE. His main research areas and interests include Covert Wireless Communication; Physical Layer Security; Intelligent Reflection Surface (IRS)-Aided Wireless Communications; Covertness and Security in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) networks; Federated Machine Learning Aided Wireless Communication; and Covertness and Security in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) networks.
