Prof. Dr. Carsten Geisler is a Professor of molecular immunology at The LEO Foundation Skin Immunology Research Center, Department of Immunology and Microbiology, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He obtained his MD, PhD in immunology, and DMSc in medicine/immunology from the University of Copenhagen in 1982, 1994, and 1995, respectively. He worked as an Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen from 1992 to 2005 and has been a Full Professor since 2005. His research interests include the immune system with a focus on T cells, vitamin D, and T cells in inflammatory skin diseases. He is the author or co-author of more than 200 papers.
