Prof. Dr. Soraya Paz-Montelongo currently works at the Universidad de La Laguna. She obtained a Master's degree in Chemistry in 2015 and a Master's degree in Teacher Training in 2018. She also completed a PhD Degree in Health Sciences in 2018. Prof. Dr. Soraya Paz-Montelongo holds an Official Diploma in Public Health (2019) taught by the School of Health and Social Services of the Canary Islands (SCAN). She is a member of the Interuniversity Group of Food and Environmental Toxicology. Her line of research focuses on the evaluation and monitoring of contaminants in food and environmental samples. In addition, She is the author of more than 80 articles in scientific journals indexed in JCR and 10 book chapters published by prestigious international publishers. She has attended and participated in international and national conferences, with more than 40 communications.
