Prof. Dr. Ying Huang, Principle Investigator at the Institute of Microbiology, CAS (IMCAS). Dr. Huang obtained her B.E. in 1991 at the East China University of Science and Technology, M.Sc. in 1994 at the Sichuan University, and Ph.D. in 1999 at the Peking University. She joined the IMCAS in 1999 and was appointed a full professor in 2007. Her research interests include systematics, ecology and bioprospecting of actinobacteria. She has published more than 130 articles in international professional journals.
