Aidyn Igenbayev, PhD, Associate Professor, is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Engineering and Food Technology of S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University (Astana, Kazakhstan). He received his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees in Food Technology from Shakarim State University of Semey. His academic and research experience exceeds 15 years. His research activities focus on fundamental and applied studies in complex processing of animal and plant raw materials, development and improvement of meat product technologies, functional and specialized food production, and analysis of development trends in the meat industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Dr. Igenbayev is the author of more than 50 scientific publications published in national and international peer-reviewed journals. His academic output also includes eight textbooks, two monographs, and six patents for inventions and utility models. His Scopus H-index is 6. Since 2012, he has actively participated in state-funded research projects related to innovative food technologies, processing of agricultural raw materials, and development of functional and specialized food products. He supervises doctoral and master’s students and contributes to advancing sustainable food processing technologies and modernization of the food industry.
