Sandra Castano-Solís received an Industrial Eng. degree from the Technical University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain, in 2006, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical, electronic, and automation engineering from the University Carlos III of Madrid, Madrid, Spain in 2010 and 2014, respectively. From 2008 to 2014, she was a Lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University Carlos III of Madrid. From 2015 to 2016, she was a Postdoc Researcher working as the Chair of the Electric Traction Studies Innovation and Development at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University Carlos III of Madrid. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Madrid. Her research interests include the testing and modeling of energy storage systems and energy management of electrical systems for electrical transportation, and stationary applications.
