Dr Waqar Shafqat has worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Department of Forestry, College of Forest Resources, Mississippi State University, since December 2021. He has a Ph.D. in Horticulture from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. He has one year of work experience as a Postdoctoral Associate at University of Florida, IFAS, Indian River Research and Education, Florida, US, with Citrus Fruit Tree. He worked in Horticulture, Fruit Crops, Tree Ecophysiology, Tree Genetics, and Plant Nutrition Management. Currently, he is working with Forest Tree Eco-physiology, Biomass Production, C-Sequestration, and Eco-system Services.
