Renske Altena is a medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of patients with breast cancer and endocrine tumors, and an Associate Professor in Oncology at the Institute for Onkologi och Patologi, Karolinska Institute. She is a Principal Investigator for several investigator-initiated clinical trials. The projects she is involved in are multidisciplinary projects that focus on (1) molecular imaging to improve precision medicine by refining treatment selection, and (2) studies to investigate and improve factors that affect cancer survivorship.
