Bondar is currently head of the Group of the Molecular Neurobiology of Stress at the Institute of Cytology and Genetics Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science (Novosibirsk, Russia). The main direction of her study is investigating the consequences of different types of stress on mouse models. She and her teams study both delayed consequences at behavioral, molecular, and epigenetic levels and direct effects occurring immediately after stress in pups.
