Dr. Francesco Fabiano Montesano is in the Department of Soil, Plant, and Food Sciences (DiSSPA), University of Bari Aldo Moro, Bari, Italy. His major research interests lie in investigations of sensor-based irrigation and fertigation management; water use efficiency; mineral plant nutrition; and greenhouse cultivation. In addition, he is renowned in the field of research and has served as a member of the National Research Council (CNR).
