The paper is dedicated to factors influencing users’ adoption of sustainable cloud computing solutions. The article covers the important characteristics related to cloud computing. It also discusses how sustainable cloud computing is important for sustainability. The current state of their security and potential threats waiting for users is reviewed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of perceived usefulness, security, availability, and satisfaction on users’ adoption of sustainable cloud computing solutions. The study tested and used the adapted Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) model in the context of cloud computing solutions. The partial least square method of structural equation modeling is employed to test the proposed research model. The study utilizes an online survey to obtain data from 252 cloud computing solutions users. The data set was analyzed using SmartPLS 3 software. Results showed that the best predictor of users’ perceived usefulness and system & service quality is perceived availability, followed by perceived security. Both perceived usefulness and system & service quality predict users’ attitude and intention to use of cloud computing solutions. The findings improve understanding regarding the adoption of cloud computing solutions, and this work is, therefore, of particular interest to the IT departments and cloud computing vendors.

The paper aims to analyse how the management science literature explains sustainable coordination and management of Information Technology (IT) outsourcing chains. The IT outsourcing theories,—that is, transaction cost theory, theory of agency, resource based view, activity based theory, contractual theory, partnership and alliance theory and stakeholder theory—are applied as a background to the analysis. A systematic literature review reveals that IT outsourcing is developed in collaborative networks and chains. There are some mechanisms identified in the literature for outsourcing chains’ management, interchain sustainability, coordination and interchain activities’ cohesion. The complexity of outsourcing relationships presented among outsourcers and outsourcees stimulate looking for new business models. Furthermore, outsourcing chains research would benefit from considering strategy-based theoretical discussions, relationship modelling and project management. The literature survey aims to present outsourcing chains in different aspects, that is, dynamics and agility, communication in chains, compensation and compliance, contracting, stakeholders, decision making models, governance problems, integration, performance measurement, project management and strategy development. This paper intends to emphasize that interchain coordination can be improved by enterprise architecture modelling as well as by the application of blockchain economy.

Business modelling can be considered as a practice for enabling change in enterprise by defining recommended Information Communication Technology (ICT) solutions, which provide value to business stakeholders. Business modelling and business analyses can be connected with different business models, techniques, and software tools. The goal of the paper is to present and discuss which business models are already well known for enterprise architecture (EA) business analysis. The literature review was done for this purpose. Beyond that, the paper aims to present a classification of business models and their mapping in ArchiMate language into different notations and languages diagrams for information architecture modelling. Proposed in this paper the business model mapping was applied in author’s earlier projects as well as it is used in university course teaching on system analysis and modelling.

The enterprise architecture (EA) is defined as a coherent and consistent set of principles and rules that guide system design. In the EA modelling methods, an enterprise is identified with institution, business or administrative unit. The EA development methods mostly focus on the EA internal problem visualization, as well as on the procedural and different viewpoint approaches. However, in this paper, author would like to emphasize the EA context specification. The first part of the paper covers presentation of different meanings of context in information science. Next, the discussion on the EA context in related publications is included. The third part comprises a proposal of considering EA stakeholders, principles and other information technology (IT) systems as an EA context. Finally, a short case study is included for the context visualization.

The enterprise architecture (EA) is a coherent and consistent set of principles and rules that guide system design. Enterprise architecture is considered as strategic information assets, which determine the business mission and the business processes, in which the Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) are implemented. The EA acts as a basis to communicate the system knowledge to its stakeholders. In this paper, stakeholders’ roles are emphasized as well as the motivation orientation in the enterprise architecture development is discussed. The following questions are formulated: who is the stakeholder of the EA, who is accountable and responsible for EA development, and what goals, constraints, and values are realized in the stakeholder activities’ processes for the organization mission and vision by example of e-healthcare prosumption system.

The intention of this chapter is to propose a distinct approach to software development sustainability, as well as a different understanding of sustainability in the context of software development. The chapter covers survey of good practices and software development methods as important for sustainable development of software products. Particularly, author focuses on agile methods and product line engineering as approaches supporting the sustainable development of software product. The analyzed practices and methods are suggested to be implemented for the software company sustainability. The implementation results in saving human efforts as well as energy and computer power.
