Haifeng Dai received his bachelor's, master's and doctoral
degrees from Tongji University in 2003, 2005 and 2008 respectively. Since 2008,
he has been working at Tongji University as a Lecturer, Associate Professor and
Professor. His research interests mainly focus on modeling and energy
management of EV powertrain systems; modeling, state estimation, life
prediction, optimal charging, and safety of Li-ion batteries; modeling and
control of fuel cell systems; vehicular wireless charging etc. He is one of the
early researchers in the field of EV traction battery systems in China, and has
been involved in the research of vehicle electrification for more than 10
years. He has carried out some original research on vehicle electrification,
for example, battery multi-domain and multi-scale modeling, state estimation
and thermal management, fuel cell system control etc., and has achieved a series of
scientific research results, which aroused the attention of academic and
industrial circles worldwide and achieved certain economic and social benefits.
