Haifeng Dai received his bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees from Tongji University in 2003, 2005 and 2008 respectively. Since 2008, he has been working at Tongji University as a Lecturer, Associate Professor and Professor. His research interests mainly focus on modeling and energy management of EV powertrain systems; modeling, state estimation, life prediction, optimal charging, and safety of Li-ion batteries; modeling and control of fuel cell systems; vehicular wireless charging etc. He is one of the early researchers in the field of EV traction battery systems in China, and has been involved in the research of vehicle electrification for more than 10 years. He has carried out some original research on vehicle electrification, for example, battery multi-domain and multi-scale modeling, state estimation and thermal management, fuel cell system control etc., and has achieved a series of scientific research results, which aroused the attention of academic and industrial circles worldwide and achieved certain economic and social benefits.
