Silvio Sanches Veiga graduated in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo (1986) and received Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo (1994). He is a member of the Morphology Area Evaluation Committee 2013-2016 of CNPq-Brazil. He has experience in Morphology, with emphasis on Cytology and Cell Biology, working mainly on the following topics: Biotechnology and Molecular Biology of venoms, brown spider, toxins, extracellular matrix, and cell adhesion.
