Md. Abdur Rahim is working as a Professor in the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh. His research area is genomics and transcriptomics, plant breeding and bioinformatics. Currently, he is focusing on the development of molecular markers for disease resistance and quality-associated traits (including Anthocyanin-related leaf, flower and fruit color) for marker-assisted selection.
