Prof. Saeed Tarighi

We are working on plant associated bacteria including endophytes, epiphytes and pathogens. The effects of these bacteria on plant productivity, activation of plant defense systems and biocontrol of plant diseases are very interesting for us. We try to discover new strategies that bacteria use to combat against plant immune systems or plant pathogens. Cell to cell communication between prokaryotes and eukaryotes form another part of our studies.
