Vetlugin Dzhabrailovich Beybalaev has more than 100 scientific papers, including 3 monographs, written personally or in co-authorship. The main direction of scientific research is the modeling of dynamic processes in fractal and porous media. The results of their scientific research have been repeatedly supported by grants from various scientific foundations of the Russian Federation. At present, V.D. Beibalaev is an Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Senior Researcher at the Institute for Geothermal Researches and Renewable Energy—a branch of the Joint Institute for High Temperatures of Russian Academy of Sciences. In 2021, for achievements in the field of education and science, he was awarded by the honorary title "Honored Worker of Education of the Dagestan Republic". He is the Deputy Chairman of the Program Committee of the International and All-Russian Scientific Conferences held at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Dagestan State University. Under the leadership of V.D. Beybalaev, there is a scientific seminar "Fundamental and applied problems of mathematics and informatics".
