Dr. Yevheniia Basova, Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering (Candidate of Engineering Sciences), is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology and Metal-Cutting Machines at the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute", Ukraine. She specializes in high-speed milling, laser surface texturing, and sustainable development of engineering technologies. Her research activities are focused on Industry 4.0, advanced manufacturing processes, and optimization of production systems. Dr. Basova is the principal investigator in several national research projects and a co-author of numerous publications indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. She serves on the editorial boards of peer-reviewed journals, including the International Journal of Mechatronics and Applied Mechanics and EAI Endorsed Transactions on Digital Transformation of Industrial Processes. She is a regular speaker at international conferences (ICoRSE, DSMIE, ICIE), a reviewer for MDPI, Diagnostyka, and Tribology in Industry, and an editor of collective volumes published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering series.
