Jose Alfredo Jiménez Bernal is a full-time professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering at the graduate school of the Instituto Politecnico Nacional in Mexico. He has been in the faculty since 1999 specializing in energy and turbulent flow applications as well as teaching and consulting. Dr. Jimenez received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical and Electrical engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Acapulco, his Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, Mexico, and his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, USA. He is the author of several referred articles, two books in the area of thermodynamics, and several book chapters. He has participated in several projects as a consultant.
