Augusto Martins Gomes is an Associate Professor at the Construction Materials Group of the Civil Engineering Department of Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) – University of Lisbon (UL). Augusto has a PhD in Civil Engineering by IST-UL (1992) and an MSc in Structural Engineering by IST-UL (1987). Augusto is a Researcher at CERIS, an R&D unit of IST-ID, the Association of IST for Research and Development. Augusto is the author of one book, the author or co-author of 56 papers in international peer-reviewed and national journals and the author or co-author of 18 papers in national and international conference proceedings.
