Professor Raul Payri graduated as an industrial engineer in 1995. He completed his doctoral thesis in 1999, obtaining one of the six awards of the 130 theses defended that year. Teaching since 1998, he became Full Professor at Universitat Politecnica de Valencia in 2009. Dr. Payri is currently the manager of the injection group formed by 20 engineers. He has worked in more than 150 research projects funded by companies such as Puegeot-Citroen, Ford, General Motors, Renault, Fiat, BMW, General Electric, Daimler, Delphi, and Jaguar Land Rover. The dissemination of results has taken place over the publication of 114 articles in scientific journals and 70 international conference papers. His h-citation index is 35, the second highest in mechanical engineering in Spain (https://indice-h.webcindario.com/). He has supervised 12 doctoral theses and over 70 master projects.
