E. Trigueros holds a PhD in Advances in Food Science and Biotechnology (Burgos University), Summa Cum Laude, International Mention, and Extraordinary Award. In 2021, she got a "Margarita Salas" fellowship (EU program), leading to 2-year postdoctoral stage at Porto University (Portugal), and 10-month with PROCEREALtech group (Valladolid University, Spain). Then she conducted a 6-month research stay at Pavia University (Italy). Now, she works in the ISP from Valladolid University.
