Hongxia Zhao is a professor at Dalian University of Technology. She received her Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006. She completed her postdoctoral work at the University of Iowa, where she was a visiting scholar and researcher. She was a lecturer and associate professor at Dalian University of Technology. She has won two third prizes for academic achievements in natural sciences in Liaoning Province. She is a member of the Chinese Chemical Society, a member of the American Chemical Society, and a reviewer of the National Natural Science Project.
