I hold a PhD in Industrial Engineering with International Mention and Cum Laude distinction from the University of Extremadura, where I currently serve as a faculty member in the Department of Graphic Expression in Engineering. My academic background also includes two master’s degrees: one in Engineering and Architecture Research and another in Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency, both completed with distinction. My research focuses on the development of advanced biomaterials for 3D bioprinting, biomedical engineering, and energy-related applications. I have published more than 20 articles in indexed journals, including Journal of Energy Storage and International Journal of Bioprinting. In addition, I have contributed to nine protected inventions, one of which received national recognition from the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM). I am actively involved in national and international research projects such as BIOSIMPRO and BIOIMPACE, collaborating with academic institutions and industry partners to promote innovation and technology transfer. Alongside my research, I regularly supervise undergraduate and master's theses and participate in teaching and training activities related to 3D printing, Arduino-based systems and digital skills in higher education.
