Highbush blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum L.), originally a forest plant, is currently in need of improvement of clonal micropropagation technologies. It is known that the large percentage of propagated plants can be lost or damaged, not only at the stage of acclimatization to non-sterile conditions, but also during the growing completion stage. In fact, successful ex vitro regeneration of such plants is determined by their ability to produce new shoots that can adapt to new cultivation conditions. The lighting and ratio of nutrients under ex vitro conditions play an important role in the development of the plants’ photosynthetic capacity. The research revealed that LED grow lighting has a positive effect on the development of ex vitro plants of highbush blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum L.) cv. Brigitta Blue, only at the initial stages of growing in 0.5-L containers. The results obtained have improved our understanding of lighting and mineral fertilizer’s impact on the development of ex vitro plants of the highbush blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum L.) cv. Brigitta Blue in greenhouse conditions. This can be useful for providing blueberry planting stock and commercial use for large scale production.

Blue honeysuckle (Lonicera caerulea var. kamtschatica Sevast.) is a valuable berry crop with a unique biochemical composition. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, and biologically active substances. Different species and cultivars of honeysuckle require different cultivation conditions in the field of accelerated reproduction in vitro. Taking into account the high clonal replication potential of the plant, we conducted research on the chelated-iron form’s influence on the micropropagation productivity of the blue honeysuckle “Lulia” cultivar at the multiplication, rooting, and subsequent acclimatization stages of microplants. In a preliminary study, five types of iron chelates were tested with carboxyl- and phosphorus-containing ligands: Fe(III)-EDTA, Fe(III)-DTPA, Fe(III)-EDDHA, Fe(III)-HEDP, and Fe(II)-HEDP. Each type of iron chelate was applied at four concentrations: standard, decreased by 2 times, and increased by 1.5 times and 2 times in the basic Murashige and Skoog (MS) nutrient medium. It was found that the blue honeysuckle “Lulia” had a selectivity to the type of iron chelate that was used. The nutrient-medium modifications with iron chelates, which caused the plant response, contributed to a significant improvement in the plant’s physiological status and increased its survival rate during the microplant’s acclimation to the nonsterile conditions stage. At the rooting stage, an increase in the rooting rate of up to 100% (Fe (III)-EDDHA), an increase in the number of shoots by 1.5–2 times, and an increase in the number of roots by 1.4–1.9 times were observed. The positive effect of the iron’s chelated forms was also observed at the acclimation stage. According to the results of the research, the most suitable iron forms for clonal micropropagation of blue honeysuckle were carboxyl-containing Fe(III)-EDDHA and phosphonate-containing Fe(II)-HEDP. Moreover, the effectiveness of both complexonates was confirmed in a wide concentration range: Fe(III)-EDDHA from (×1.0) to (×2.0), and Fe(II)-HEDP from (×0.5) up to (×1.5).

As a result of global climate change towards warming, the whole world is faced with the problem of producing grape raw material with high sugar content and poor phenolic ripening. To eliminate this imbalance in the degree of ripening of grape raw material caused by natural anomalies, we tested fertilizers of various chemical and biochemical compositions and natural foliar biostimulants. The aim of the research was to study the effect of preparations of different spectrum of foliar action on the harmonization of sugar accumulation and phenolic ripening in grapes, and the quality of wine of the variety Krasnostop AZOS. In the current situation of unstable weather conditions in the existing terroir conditions with the established varietal composition of the vineyards, it is very relevant to identify preparations that can optimize the processes of grape ripening to preserve the quality parameters of wine. Preparations with various spectrums of foliar action will be studied: CAGS complex amino acid-humic fertilizer with vitamins and microelements; Chlorella extract (an amino acid complex from algae, the extract of which is a highly effective biostimulant); Agrumax (mineral complex); Biodux – a derivative of the fungus Mortierella alpina, a biologically active preparation of arachidonic acid; technical red grape variety bred by AZOSViV – branch of the FSBSI NCFCHVW “Krasnostop AZOS”; must and wine from the variety Krasnostop AZOS. Methods of technochemical and microbiological control in winemaking were applied in the work; wine parameters were determined according to GOST methods and original certified methods of the Instrument-Analytical winemaking center of the NCFCHVW; polyphenolic and anthocyanin substances in wine were studied using the technique of V.G. Gerzhikova, Research Institute “Magarach”. Agricultural technology is generally accepted, adapted to the local terroir. Work on studying radically different active substance preparations for the quality of grapes and wine showed that the highest statistically proven yield of the variety Krasnostop AZOS, statistically proven at the 95% significance level, was recorded as a result of application of the preparations CAGS and Biodux; the analysis of wines from the variety Krasnostop AZOS and their organoleptic evaluation allows us to conclude that with the increase of the concentration of the extract, phenolic substances, and the total content of biologically active substances in it, the hygienic value and the general quality of the wine itself increase; the highest tasting scores were given to wine samples from the variants of treating grapes with foliar preparations from the group of biologically active substances: Chlorella algae extract and Biodux.

Crimea is one of the few regions of our country, which has a mild subtropical climate and historical traditions, and the most favorable conditions for cultivation of olive (Olea europaea L.) To develop this crop, planting material must be produced from the most adapted varieties. Rooting cuttings during the vegetative propagation of olives is a slow process because olives are hard-to-root crops. The aim of the study was to develop methods to increase the rootability of European olive cuttings. Various humidity and temperature regimes, the use of indolyl butyric acid (IBA), and different substrate compositions were studied in the conditions of the vegetation module. Three temperature regimes were tested: +15°C, +20°C, and +25°C. Within each temperature regime, three humidity levels were tested: 80%, 85% and 90%. Each temperature and humidity level included options with and without IBA treatment. The repetition is fivefold, with 20 cuttings per repetition. The effect of various substrate compositions on the rootability of olive cuttings in the vegetation module was also studied. All the factors studied–temperature regime, humidity level, substrate composition and treatment with BMI solutions–had a significant effect on cutting safety, budding, and rooting. The effect of the temperature regime on the rootability of cuttings depended on the air humidity. At a relatively low temperature of +15°C, the rootability decreased slightly with increasing air humidity. At +20°C, the optimal humidity level was 85%. At +25°C, a higher rooting rate was observed at higher air humidity levels. The highest rooting percentage was found in the variant using BMI at a temperature of +25°C with 85% humidity. Cuttings that were rooted in a vegetation module with an optimal substrate composition (peat and coconut substrate at a ratio of 1:1) exhibited accelerated growth when grown in protected soil conditions. This made it possible to rapidly obtain seedlings that met the standard.
