Kirill P. Birin graduated from Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia with a specialty in Chemistry in 2007. After this, he obtained a PhD degree in physical chemistry and inorganic chemistry in 2009 at the Frumkin Institute of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry of Russian Academy of Sciences (IPCE RAS). Currently, he is a leading researcher in the Laboratory of Novel Physical-Chemical Problems at the IPCE RAS. His research interests include the development of new strategies for the elaboration and application of porphyrin functional derivatives.
