Adela Pintea obtained a Bachelor's degree from the Universitatea Babes-Bolyai, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, from 1985-10-01 to 1991-07-10. She also obtained a PhD from the Universitatea Babes-Bolyai, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, from 1993-06-15 to 2001-04-26. On 2017-06-26, she obtained a Biotechnology residency at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine. Currently, she is employed at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca as a Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry. She is proficient in liquid chromatography coupled with various detection types (UV-Vis, fluorescence, MS), especially for carotenoids and tocopherol derivatives.
