Born on 15 October 1986 in Covè (Benin), I graduated from the Lycée Béhanzin in Porto-Novo in 2008 with a Baccalaureat D. I went on to study at the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Abomey-Calavi, majoring in Chemistry, Biology and Geology. I continued my university studies at FAST/UAC, majoring in Chemistry Biology Geology. After obtaining my bachelor's and master's degrees in Natural Sciences I and II, I went on to study for a master's degree in Applied Hydrobiology. My Master's thesis was based on the reproduction and embryology of the giant African freshwater shrimp Macrobrachium vollenhovenii (Herklots, 1857) at the Wetlands Research Laboratory (LRZH). I am currently the author of ten scientific publications in recognised journals and several presentations at international conferences and workshops. I am the winner of the UG-GMES-2020 regional digital art competition organised by the University of Ghana in the field of effective environmental management for the maintenance of shrimp resources in lagoon systems. On 31 October 2022, I defended my doctoral thesis on the spatio-temporal distribution of shrimp species as part of the hydrodynamic modelling project and the distribution of shrimp species in the Lake Nokoué-Ocean system in Benin. This research is funded by the CEBioS programme (www.biodiv.be/cebios2) in cooperation with the IRHOB and the Bio-Bridge initiative of the Convention on Biological Diversity.
