Ľubomír Švorc, PhD Prof. Ing. Ľubomír Švorc, D.Sc. is a full professor (since 2022) at the Institute of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Slovakia. His research interest is focused on the development and application of novel and progressive electrode platforms based on progressive carbon-based materials. He is the author and co-author of 160 original papers evidenced in WoS (citations > 3000 without self-citations, H-index 35). Prof. Švorc has obtained prestigious awards for his research activities, such as the Laureate of Young Scientist Award (2014) in Slovakia and the Laureate of the element Europium in the Periodic Table of Younger Chemists (2019) within the IUPAC. He participates as the President of the Slovak Chemical Society and a member of the Slovak National Committee of Chemistry for IUPAC. Prof. Švorc also acts as a referee for various multidisciplinary scientific journals in the field of analytical chemistry, electrochemistry, and sensors. Since 2023, he is a President of the Slovak Chemical Society.
