Dr. Jana Šerá obtained her Masters degree from Brno University of Technology in Environmental chemistry in 2013 and received her Ph.D. degree in Technology of Macromolecular compounds from Tomas Bata University in Zlín in 2018. She is currently working at Tomas Bata University in Zlín focusing on biodegradation of plastics and analysis of degrading microorganisms with modern microscopic and molecular biology methods.
