Dr. Reni Alipieva Andreeva completed her
master's degree at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy,
Sofia, with the specialty “Electrochemistry and corrosion protection”. She
received her PhD degree in 2019 at the Institute of Physical Chemistry—
Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She is currently working at the Institute of Physical Chemistry "Rostislaw
Kaischew"—Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Her scientific research interests are focused mainly on establishing
options for the
selection of suitable
compositions and
regimes for electrochemical and chemical deposition of oxide layers of metals of the lanthanides group on aluminum and on its alloys, aiming at improving their corrosion
behavior in aggressive chlorine ions containing corrosion medium.
