Dr. Simona Mihaela Hogaș, an Associate Professor at University of Medicine and Pharmacy Grigore T. Popa, Iasi, Nephrology Department, senior nephrologist with clinical activity at the Dr. C.I. Parhon Clinical Hospital in Iași.My work focuses on chronic kidney disease and dialysis, with a particular interest in vascular function changes in dialysis patients, a topic which I also addressed in my doctoral research coordinated by Prof. Adrian Covic. I have also been involved in rare-disease care and coordination activities related to Fabry disease and aHUS. I contribute to academic research in renal, cardiovascular, and geriatric pathology through university-based projects and collaborations, and my scientific output includes specialty publications developed within multidisciplinary teams.
