Dr. Rafael A. Burgos is a Full Professor at the Institute of Pharmacology and Morphophysiology, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Universidad Austral de Chile, Valdivia. He received a Medico Veterinario degree from Austral University of Chile in 1990 and a Master of Science in Pharmacology from the University of Chile in 1996. His research interests include neutrophils, immunometabolism, inflammation, and pharmacology.
