Mirela Panait currently holds the position of Professor habil at Faculty of Economic Sciences, Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti (Romania). She is also a scientific researcher at Institute of National Economy from Romanian Academy. Her work experience derives from and includes: teaching courses and seminaries; research activities; participating in scientific conferences. Her research activities include publishing seven books and over 100 scientific papers in the fields of interest: corporate social responsibility, sustainable development, foreign direct investment and financial market. She has published articles in leading international journals, including Land Use Policy, Energies, Sustainability, Journal of Risk and Financial Management and PlosOne. She is also guest editor, associate editor, or reviewer for prestigious journals from the MDPI group, Emerald, and IGI Global publishing house. She is a member of different organisations, such as the EU Energy Poverty Observatory.
