Hossam Hussein received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University (FIU) in August 2025. He is a Transmission Planning Consultant with over a decade of combined academic and industrial experience in power systems. His research focuses on resilient energy systems, inverter-based resources, energy storage, and AI-driven grid control, with over 25 publications in high-impact journals and conferences. He has received several IEEE awards, grants, and fellowships recognizing his contributions to modern power systems.
