Dragana Rakasevic graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Belgrade, Serbia, where she also earned a PhD in the field of peri-implantitis and specialization of periodontology and oral medicine. Dr Rakasevic is currently an ITI Scholar at The University of Complutense, Madrid and The University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain under the mentorships of Professors Mariano Sanz and Juan Blanco Carrion. She is employed as a Research Associate at the Department of Oral Surgery, Faculty of Dental Medicine, Serbia. The author and co-author of national and international research papers, and lecturer at various international and national scientific meetings. Additionally, she was one of the presenters at Young Breakout Sessions at ITI World Symposium 202ONE. Her areas of interest include implantology and periodontology, bone regeneration, computer guided implantology, digital dentistry. Member of the international team for Implantology (ITI), European Federation of Periodontology, Women Implantology Network, WIN Academy of Osseointegration (AO), European Association for Osseointegration (EAO), and Periodontology Association of Serbia.
