Dr. Luz Martín-Carbonero currently works at the HIV unit at Hospital Universitario La Paz, Madrid, Spain. She is part of the AIDS and Infectious Diseases Research Group, "IdiPaz", at La Paz University Hospital. She received her Ph.D. in medicine from the Autonomous University of Madrid, a Diploma in Health Science Design and Statistics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Compton in Madrid. Her area of interest and publications are related to the care of HIV patients, especially coinfection of HIV with hepatotropic viruses.
