Dr. Denis Bazhin is a senior staff scientist of Postovsky Institute of Organic Synthesis. In 2006, he graduated from Ural State University. In 2009, he successfully defended his PhD thesis on the topic “Synthesis and properties of fluorinated oxiranes”. The field of his scientific interests includes organic synthesis and material science. Dr. Denis Bazhin has published approximately 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals, mainly on the synthesis of the novel fluorine-containing aliphatic and heterocyclic derivatives, coordination chemistry.
