Dr. Songfeng Guo

Songfeng Guo is an associate professor in Geoengineering at the Key Laboratory of Shale Gas and Geoengineering, Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his Ph.D. Degree from the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2015. In 2016, he won the First Prize in Natural Sciences Award from the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering (CSRME), ranking as the fourth contributor. His research interests include Progressive Failure of Rock Mass, Quality Evaluation and Failure Mechanism of Rock Mass during Excavation, and Macro and Microscopic Mechanical Behavior of Loess.
