In order to accurately and effectively obtain the contact performance of the mating surface under the material surface topography characteristics, a numerical simulation method of rough surface based on the real topography characteristics and a multi-scale hierarchical algorithm of contact performance is studied in this paper. Firstly, the surface topography information of materials processed by different methods was obtained and characterized by a measuring equipment; Secondly, a non-Gaussian model considering kurtosis and skewness was established by Johnson transform based on Gaussian theory, and a rough surface digital simulation method based on real surface topography was formed; Thirdly, a multi-scale hierarchical algorithm is given to calculate the contact performance of different mating surfaces; Finally, taking the aeroengine rotor as the object, the non-Gaussian simulation method was used to simulate the mating surfaces with different topographies, and the multi-scale hierarchical algorithm was used to calculate the contact performance of different mating surfaces. Analysis results showed that the normal contact stiffness and elastic–plastic contact area between the mating surfaces of assembly 1 and assembly 2 are quite different, which further verifies the feasibility of the method. The contents of this paper allow to perform the fast and effective calculation of the mechanical properties of the mating surface, and provide a certain analysis basis for improving the surface microtopography characteristics of materials and the product performance.

Individual bolt at key connection positions is prone to loose when the engine is cycle-operating under complex loads. A joint surface equivalent stiffness model is derived and developed based on the connection characteristics of bolt screwing in the multi-exciting environment of the high pressure rotor. The model is used to analyze the effect of bolt missing at circumferential positions with the equivalent stiffness loss. Vibration experiments under both axial force and lateral impact were carried out to obtain the dynamic response feature of the multistage disk-drum simulated rotor with missing one bolt at different positions. The Spearman correlation coefficient was applied to evaluate the identification effect of different measuring points on the bolt loosening position. The study shows that the eigenfrequencies of experimental results have a consistent trend with the equivalent stiffness variation caused by single bolt missing model. This method also provides a theoretical basis for the detection of bolt deviation position with multi-exciting vibration detection.
Because of the uncertainty of the structure and environment of the electric driving system (EDS), the fault signature of the rotating mechanism is complicated. A novel method based on Hilbert transform with modified fast kurtogram (HTMFK), which is used for identifying the bearing faults in the EDS, is proposed. The modified principle and algorithm flow of the proposed method are derived. A high pass filter based on the frequency band identified by HTMFK is constructed and applied to fault diagnosis. Simulation signals demonstrate the ability of demodulating signals and identifying the fault resonance band. The bearing fault bench experiment of EDS is carried out in a semianechoic chamber. The corresponding fault tests are conducted according to different operating conditions. The applicability of HTMFK is verified by comparing the square envelope spectrums. Compared with other methods, the proposed method identifies the fault resonance frequency band more effectively and expands the application range of bearing fault diagnosis in EDS.
