Dr Hamad is an Associate Professor in the Engineering department, Teesside University. He studied a BSc Mechanical Engineering and MSc Thermal Engineering at the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq. He worked for 10 years as a lecturer at Basrah University before he started his PhD study at Bradford University, UK on multiphase flow in vertical pipe. Dr Hamad has worked as a research engineer for two years, which extended for two years as a Teaching Fellow at the school of Engineering, Aberdeen University before he joined Teesside university as lecturer in 2011. Dr Hamad has published more than 85 papers in multiphase flow and heat transfer areas.
