Dr. Pedro Ponce earned his Master's and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering, specializing in control systems and electric drives. In 2002, he joined Tecnológico de Monterrey- Ciudad de Mexico campus as a professor. From 2006 to 2014, he served as the Director of the Graduate Program of Science in Engineering at the same institution. He has published 19 books. Currently, he is a research leader at the Institute of Advanced Materials and Sustainable Manufacturing. Additionally, Dr. Ponce has been an advisor to several industries for 15 years, boasting extensive experience in electric systems, robots, control systems, power electronics, manufacturing systems, smart and micro grids, electric machines, product design, and advanced artificial intelligence.
