Hélia Maria Soares earned her Nursing Diploma (1990), Master of Science in Nursing (2009) and PhD of Science in Nursing in Major (2016). He/she is now Coordinator Professor of the Health School Sciences/University of Azores. His/her work in Nursing has resulted in several publications, presentations, lectures, and courses; memberships. His/her research interests include: infant development; maternal sensitivity; infant cooperation; early intervention; risks; evolutionary approach; patient and nurse satisfaction; parenthood; parental stress; evidence-based practice; error; positive mental health; and mental health literacy.
