Ivan V. Timofeev received his degree from Siberian Federal University, Krasnoyarsk, Russia, in 2000. He is currently a professor at his alma matter, teaching in the Department of Theoretical Physics and Wave Phenomena. He received his Ph.D. in Optics in 2003, followed by a D.Sc. in 2017. Since 2001, he has been affiliated with the Kirensky Institute of Physics at the Federal Research Center KSC SB RAS, Russia, where he established the Laboratory for Photonics of Molecular Systems in 2018. As part of an international research collaboration, he served as a visiting researcher in Taiwan in 2010 and 2017. His research interests focus on topological photonics, soft matter, and nanophotonics.
