Mrs Pia Simona Făgăraș is Associate Professor PhD Coordinator of the Physiotherapy Department from University of Medicine, Pharmacy and Technology "George Emil Palade" from Targu Mures. She completed bachelor degree in Physical Education and Sport at University "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" from Iasi, master degree in Psychomotricity and doctoral degree in Sport Science and Physical Education, both at  National Academy  of Physical Education and Sport from Bucharest. Her areas of expertise include: Physical Activity, Nutrition, and Human Motor Sciences. She has extensive teaching and research activity, contributing to the training of new generations of physiotherapist and to the advancement of knowledge in her specialty. All her research and teaching is around the basketball, physical activity, body posture investigation, anthropometry, biomechanics and psychomotricity,  and quality of life, well-being.
