Miada Almasre is an Assistant Professor in the Information Technology Department at King Abdulaziz University (KAU) in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Almasre has held various positions at KAU, including Head of the Educational System Department in the Deanship of E-learning and Distance Education, Head of Training Unit in the Deanship of E-learning and Distance Education, and Web admin at the Information Technology Deanship. She is also a Supervisor of the Learning Systems Department and a Supervisor of the innovation laboratory in e-learning. She is a CISCO Assistant (CCNA) and Professional Certified Trainer (TOT), as well as a Blackboard Certified Trainer. She has expertise in computer vision, machine learning, artificial intelligence, digital multimedia, and e-learning. She has a Ph.D. in Computer Vision and Machine Learning from KAU. Her teaching interests include data mining, networking and Cisco Certified Network Associate, neural networks and artificial intelligence, and digital multimedia. Her research interests are in the field of computer vision and machine learning.
