Dilek Odaci received her PhD in Biochemistry from Ege University in 2010. She is currently a full professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Ege University. She carried out studies on the use of organic and inorganic materials as immobilization matrices for biomolecules in the design of analysis systems based on biological molecules. Her current research focuses on electrochemical and optical sensors, biofunctionalized surfaces, bioconjugate preparation techniques, nanotechnology, nanobiotechnology, and nanomaterials.
