Franklin Paredes-Trejo: F.P.T. is a full professor in Hydrology and Remote Sensing at the Department of Civil Engineering in the National University ‘Ezequiel Zamora’ (UNELLEZ, Venezuela). F.P.T. holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the Catholic University Andrés Bello (Venezuela, 2005), a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Carabobo (Venezuela, 2012) and a postdoc in remote sensing from the Federal University of Alagoas (Brazil). His major research interests are large-scale droughts.
