Prof. Chase Q. Wu is currently a Professor and the Associate Chair in the Department of Data Science and the Director of the Center for Big Data at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). He completed his B.S. in Remote Sensing at Zhejiang University in 1995, MS in Geomatics at Purdue University-Main Campus in 2000, M.S. in Computer Science at Louisiana State University in 2002, and Ph.D. at Louisiana State University in 2003. His research interests include big data, high-performance networking, parallel and distributed computing, sensor networks, scientific visualization, and cybersecurity.
