Prof. Yasmin M. Heikal is an Associate Professor working at the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science at Mansoura University, Egypt. She holds a PhD in genetic diversity in 2015 and a Master's degree in Plant cytogenetics in 2012, both from Mansoura University. She won the Mansoura University award in Best PhD for the academic year 2016. Her research interests are in the field of cytogenetics, molecular and population genetic research. Yasmin has co-authored articles published in several academic journals, and several poster/oral presentations at local and international conferences.
